Guess whats happening in Nashville right now. I just happened to be on vacation in Nashville right now.



If you guessed dealer meeting, you guessed right. The area around the Gaylord has been crawling with Harley's, so I decided to snoop around. Took a walk through the Gaylord and saw everything from hard core bikers to posers. I managed to just barley get a peek inside this area and see some bikes, didn't want to try and line up a picture because security was watching me.

I figured something was up when the bus taking the wife and I to the Opry Saturday evening passed a big rig with HD live wire on it parked in back of the Gaylord. Then last night a Japanese lady ask my wife if she was involved with Harley Davidson because she was wearing a HD shirt. Come to find out the lady is an interpreter brought in for the dealer meeting.

I did it today!

I waited until the site opened with new colors and just couldn't decide to order the 2-tone reds or the new Black Magic. I wanted to see the Black Magic first. A local dealer had an electra glide in that color just in so I went and looked today and kept trying to decide between the BM or the 2 reds. Finally decided I like the BM. It's not really black but a silvery pewter with various colors of metalflake. It also has graphics on fenders ,tank, side covers and tour pack. It looked great out in tge sun. Just as I was looking my go-to dealer called and they were just untrucking one. Their first.

We had already been talking trades, etc. So we made a deal over the phone. Ought to have it in a week.

Having the cats pulled before I pick it up. They have a trade-out deal for the pipes. Got them to give me tour pack luggage rack and LED kit for it at cost. I'll install it. More lites on back but already looks well lit with leds now! Have a few extras off my old trike.

So my 2012 will be going to trade. It is a nice red/merlot model but I like all the changes in the new one.

I looked at the Black Magic the other day. It was rainning out so i couldn't see it in the sun.It looked awfully nice in the showroom though! I think you'll have one of the best looking trikes around. Congrats & enjoy.

I just got back from my local dealer, my 2015 TriGlide (Black Magic) is in. They are installing some accessories for me, rear bumper, air wing luggage rack and LED light kit, tour park power port, transparent paint guard kit, and the Lift Kit I ordered from DK Custom. I also have a DK Custom tank lift kit that I will install once i bring her home. Here are some pictures of the bike in the shop being worked on. I will pick it up next week.

It was hard to really tell under fluorescent lights of the shop and the flash of the camera., although one of the descriptions I read of the Black Magic paint was that it has deep blue pewter chips.

One thing I noticed when checking mine at the dealer ( not ready yet) is the graphics on the rear fenders are close in by the trunk body. But, on pic on website they are down middle of the fender and more to outside. I thought MAYBE they movrd them to keep them from getting kicked up? Wife thought they would look better in center/ outer edge.
I wonder which came first, my bikes build or the one on the website.

Based on the literature I have read it seems like the 2015 triglide is identical to the 2014 except for color changes. My dealer has not received a 2015 yet. Those of you that have acquired one or seen one is my conclusion valid? Thanks

the rear fenders were covered up while they were installing the air wing luggage rack and LED light kit, so I could not see where the location of the graphics are.

njtrike, no differences. They did a ton in 2014 and raised the price to prove it! Not much price increase this year and it all looks the same to me. I HEAR they fixed all the wet-head bugs?

Ordered a new rack with lite bar and I'm ready to start putting stuff back on that came off my trade. I figure I have a couple hot afternoons of putting stuff on.
I had to laugh at myself twice trying to figure out how to start it and get it to go in reverse. A couple new changes :blush:
Also, looks like the windsheild is shorter?

picked up my 2015 Tri Glide today! was rough getting use to 3 wheels at first, but after a few miles was starting to get much more comfortable. It's a sweet ride!!!!

I hear ya. I had a devil of a time with all the re-locations. Parking brake, PTT switch(had to add), reverse button, cruise control. I traded a 2012TG for a 2014TG last Sept. I'm still learning the infotainment system especially the GPS. Sure glad I kept my Zumo. If you have another GPS - KEEP IT.

Not sure the fairing vent does much good if you add the windshield pouch. I don't notice any difference open or closed.
Windshield is shorter so I bought one to keep it at the same level as the pre Rushmore model.

There wasn't to many things that can be installed on the new TG from the older models. At least my Anarchy wheels fit and my Zepplin seat.

Black Magic is one of Harley's custom colors for 2015 (along with Radioactive Green) that comes with the graphics from the factory.

I haven't even tried the GPS yet, that will be later. I've set up a bunch of preset FM stations, and attached my iPod to the Infotainment system already, but have a long way to go with learning all that it can do.

The dealer did install the DK Custom TriGlide lift kit for me (techs at the dealer were impressed with how it changed the handling and ride) as well as the rear bumper, transparent paint guard kit, air-wing luggage rack and LED light kit prior to picking it up. This weekend I'm putting on my Mustang seat and a few other "nice to have" accessories.
