Hey everyone, Jim here from Pickering Ontario Canada

Just joined the site since i just picked up a 2012 Trike with 14k kmh. Blue/black in colour. Floor boards with lights. My brothers call them pontoons. I reply that I will float in case of flood.

Ride has a stage one on it, but not sure what that means?? i know that it rides very hot on the right side. is that normal

Please pardon some of the silly questions

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum from Western Pennsylvania and yes they can be hot to ride. You will find several heat reduction threads in the Triglide subforum. I have done a heat management program to reduce the felt heat as well as actual Motor Temperatures. I do not believe there is any one thing you can do to reduce the heat, it is rather a number of things in total that make a great reduction in both felt and Motor temps. DK Customs have done volumes of work in this area they are a sponsor member of Trike Talk. Old shiney never sees 250 degrees in the summer and the felt heat is for us not an issue. :good: Travel safe Fred
