Hey people...new to the trike thing, not new to riding..still haven't ridden a trike, but will be soon if the weather can hold out for a few more days..just traded my 01 road king classic for a 2011 triglide..its still at the dealer getting a few things swapped out..1st thing is the stock pipes they had to go..went for Vance & Hines true duals..wanted the Rinehart's, but not available for the trike..anyway..Hello-all..from upstate NY

Hope you also added a "fuel tuner" to richen the mix. HD's are already lean from the factory. Adding a less restrictive exhaust system will lean it further.
Did you get the breather kit to?
I am disliked by many for this but, got to tell you-check your warranty!
Using non-HD mods can void your warranty!
Use to be in the catalog that mods must be HD products, marked street legal and must be installed by a HD tech at an authorized HD dealer to keep the warranty valid. Your dealer may say it's OK if he sold the stuff to you but, have problem 1,000 miles from home and that dealer may have a different story!

Hey dawg...your right about needing th richen the mix..i added a screaming eagle stage 1 kit and having the bike re-mapped to solve that problem..no prob. with warranty..did the same on the 01 when i bought it new..never had a problem with hd honoring the warranty..thanx..

Welcome aboard! You will have a blast with the trike <img src="images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />. But watch those fenders..... gas pumps, garage door frames, other vehicles, the line on the freeway ..... all of those sorts of things like to jump out and get you when you first move to a trike!!!

Hello. I have just purchased a 2005 VTX1300R. It is magenta in color. My husband and I have been back riding for about 9 years. We love to ride. He has a 2003 Yamaha Royal Star Midnight Venture. But I have been wanting a trike for several years. We live in Knoxville, Tn. We moved here from Chickamauga, Ga about 4 years ago. A lot of beautiful country to ride here.

Can't wait on the weather to break so I can ride it.

Hey man, did you get the trike at Van's errr Adirondack Harley? Had Harleys for quite awhile and miss my 96 RK the most. Are you anywhere near Galway lake? Great riding in the Adirondacks!!
