Howdy all three-wheeled brothers and sisters!
Am enjoying my new-to-me 03 Honda GL1800 with the Champion conversion, mostly because my wife likes the huge back seat!
We did a good bit of traveling on a BMW K1200LT (another one with a nice back seat) but lost the bike when our place flooded a couple years back. Been looking for a replacement and settled on the Wing trike.
Been a two wheeled rider for about 45 years or so. Started, like many, on dirt bikes, graduated to street bikes with a 60's Sears Allstate 250, graduated to a 72 Harley Electra Glide and stayed a Harley guy for many years. Panhead rigid frame choppers, shovels, evo's and even an old Servi-car for awhile!
Switched to BMW's about 10 years ago (tired of polishing chrome) and have enjoyed many a long mile on them. Currently rolling on a R1200GS and doing the adventure bike thing.
I've been an MSF Ridercoach for about 14 years now, and have been teaching as part of the Louisiana State Police run Motorcycle Safety Program. Sadly, we don't have a trike course as yet.
Looking forward being a part of this community and to reading the wisdom of these forums. Questions will no doubt come to mind :laugh:
