Well, I brought my new trike home yesterday. I took my 97 Valk to Mr. Bazooka a while back and he installed a new Roadsmith trike for me. It really turned out nice and I couldn't be happier. It is going to take me a while to get used to it but I am patient for an old guy.

Way to go Randy. :)

Question: what is the proper tire pressure for front and rear.

Front tire depends on which tire you have. Most run 41 for trike, including the Michelin Pilot Activ (MPA) or the Battleax BT-45. I'm currently running the Avon Cobra Trike front and they recommend 38-42#.

Roadsmith told me 28-30# in rears and I've found that to work well for me. 28# day-to-day local riding and 30# loaded and pulling trailer on long trips. I'm running the factory size tire 205 X 65 R16.

Enjoy the new ride - POST PICS! :)

Nice to see a happy owner and from what I've seen everything Randy does he does a great job. Congrats on the new trike and enjoy many miles of riding.

Beautiful ride. In my Valk trike I ran 40 psi front & 24 psi rear.

On the front tire, I never found a rear tire that was the correct size. You either had to go skinnier or much lower profile, which messed up the speedometer reading. I finally settled on the bias ply Metzler tire as giving me the best service, around 10k miles, mostly highway.

I sure miss my hot-rod...

Congrats on that beautiful ride.
On my Roadsmith, I run A Bridgestone BattleAx BT-45 mounted backwards on the front with 41 psig. It's wearing really well so far.
On the back, I run about 26 psig. I found that's where my trike does best. IF I run more than that in the back, it feels a tad harsher on bumpy roads. But I'm old and senile....LOL

WOW!!! Nice looking ride Elliott! That two-tone paint job really sets it off! Enjoy!!! ThumbUp

Nice job Bazooka!!! ThumbUp
