New Trike Owner NE Ohio with a 2012 Harley Tri Glide

Greetings from the north coast, NE Ohio. I have become arecent Trike owner after many years of riding two wheels. I have made the jumpto a 2012 Tri Glide. I had test ridden many Trikes over the past 10 years or soknowing I would end up on one due to severe back issues. I have always enjoyedmaintaining my own motorcycles and hope to continue with this one. I am retiredand enjoy morning and afternoon rides on weekdays. I look forward to learningmore about my Trike and the fellow riders in his group. I hope to meet more Trikeriders here in NE Ohio and enjoy lots of miles out on the roadways.

Hello Milemaker and from the U.P. of Michigan welcome to the website. I also do the majority of my own work and not only do I save some money but I learn about my machine. I also had to go to three wheels due to an injury from an accident that put me down for a few years. I love riding so three is the way to go!! Thanks for the welcome. My biggest thing is to get this trike running half way decent. I have new mufflers, de-catted Y pipe, stage one breather kit, trailer hitch and a yet to decide on tuner sitting in the corner of the garage to put on this spring. I just sold both my Handy lifts and now need to order the trike lift I have my eye on. It will be an exciting spring for sure. All the fun will begin when the lift gets ordered and delivered.

I have been reading up on many of the subjects here and have a pretty good idea what I want to do.
