New to Trike Talk

It's been 30 years since I have had a bike. This fall I got a 2012 Trike. Have enjoyed riding it and really love it for this old 64 year old man. Wish winter did not come so soon where I live. I am sure I am not the only one with the HD Trike. Mine is the new blue for 2012.

Blue , sounds like my story 10 years ago (54) bought first trike 99 RoadKing after being off motorcyles for 30 years. Motor Trike Kit. Put over 120,000 miles + on it. Traded for 2010 Flaming Blue Pearl Triglide Ultra year ago August have put 20,000 Miles on it.(64 now) and am still enjoying every mile. Just be careful until your riding skills come back. Lot more egits on road these days. Trike will take a little while to get use to but have advantage from not just coming off two wheel. Ride safe and enjoy.

Welcome to Triketalk Blue. I'm almost 70 and still holding on to my Road King. Here's a Picture of my wife's 2012 Triglide. She's put over 7K miles on it since August and love's it!!!

I might add that the second pic is before I ask Ron to removed the lowers and got the HD "windsplitter" windshield. The first pic is how I'm riding now. Looking to change out my wheels, just haven't made up my mind as to which ones' I want.

Welcome Blue. Gave up my E-Glide at 66. Felt too old for 2 wheels, not nearly old enough for a rocking chair. Wife and I rode out to breakfast this morning. Year round riding out here in So. Cal.
