New to Driving a Trike

Welcome

Hi My Name is Dan Coulter I just got a 2018 Trike. Had a 2007 Sportster until someone turn in front of me. So I was mess up for awhile. My legs are still weak and I still need my wind in my face. I got over 400 miles on it until this snow hit. Know I have to wait until spring to ride.

Good too have you with use, but you must remember you drive a car and RIDE a trike.

So get on that trike and RIDE it like you stowlled it. BIG DENNY:D

hello Daniel

welcome to trike talk forum, best forum on the net. if you have 400 miles on your trike you are on your way. if you have not took a trike safety course, it would be a good ideal to do so. 1. you learn the correct way to ride a trike. 2. you get a 2 years discount on your insurance.

once you get used to that trike then you will be in for some fun, fun. they will stop faster than a 2 wheeler, don't put your foot down at stops. slow parking lot speed no problem.

ps now that you are on trike talk make a gathering and put some faces to names

Hi Dan! Welcome to TrikeTalk from Midland, TEXAS!

Ain’t nuth’n to this trike-riding skill... Just turn the bars like it was a steering wheel, keep your feet UP, no need to lean but when in a curve push down with your foot on the outside footrest (opposite the direction of the curve you are in), take the curves at the speed you are comfortable with and RELAX...you are NOT going to fall over! You’ll be thoroughly enjoying it before you know it! Oh yes...be mindful of that fat butt you are dragging around now when you get into close quarters with anything!
