I heard the new Rockford audio and it sounds great. I understand that the amp installs in the saddle bags on the regular bikes. Where does it install in the Trike? In the trunk or somewhere on the frame? I'm thinking of getting it and installing it myself. Has anyone done this yet?

It would be interesting to know if this new amp is plug and play compatible with the previous speakers/wiring. Adjusting the equalization depending on road speed is precisely what is needed......

I cannot figure why it has to go on the body, most aftermarket kits the amp goes on top of the radio, sure would like to know what is different about the rockford kit versus other kits, hope somebody on knows why, plan on a aftermarket kit someday not sure if rockford is in the fix since it is sold by harley, I know there are better outfits out there.

So if you know why it has to go on body instead of top of radio please reply, basicall I just might call rockford up and find out, but not ready to upgrade my system yet

All for now Trampas

My son upgrade the stereo on his 15 road Glide and it flat out rocked, so I will be using his electronic knowledge when that time comes. Plus he used all non HD components.
