Hi All;
I have a 92 Goldwing SE with a Motor Trike Kit added to it, 4 yrs ago. Two yrs ago it developed an unidentified rattle or clatter. It sounds like the drive shaft is rubbing against a washer or body member. I have discussed this with the trike shop and they can't seem to find any place where the shaft is rubbing anything. The rattle seems to produce itself only at 50mph or higher and if the trike leans to the left a little and the engine under a load. This ratttling has been going on for 2 summers now but does not appear to get any worse or louder. Could this be in the rearend or the transmission? Any help from the trike gods would be wonderful. Thanks

Please check a few things Check your rear end fluid. Check your clutch hose near the drive shaft . Check your differential make sure it is tight. My friend with a MT had all them issues . Wore a hole thru his clutch hose.
