A few new Boudica shots in my album. Finally got her back out to Nelson's Landing for the folow up photo op. This is the same location as the shot in 'Pest's album from when she just had 2 wheels. I'm a bit prejudiced, but I think she looks good out in the sunlight!

Windyone -- riding weather is HERE! It's a nice balmy 82* this afternoon & supposed to stay like this through the weekend. Great weather for the BTW Trike In down in Laughlin this weekend. Probably be in the low 90s there with some wind to cool things down to a comfortable level.

SEAlaskan, the seat is a Saddlemen Road Sofa with their custom red velour covering. I didn't know it when I got that seat, but I've heard they will build their custom seats to fit you if you send in height, weight, inseam length, & arm length. It is a gel seat, but they put a layer of foam over the gel so it doesn't get screamin' hot in the summer sun. The main reason I went with the velour covering because leather & plastic seats get realy hot here in the summer. It's a GREAT seat for $645. You can get 'em through Drag Specialties, but go to the Saddlemen website & print out the line price & take it with you 'cuz Drag wants over $800 for it.

I didn't try it, but you might be able to get their seats on line. Our local HD dealer honored the online price. It IS a 500+ mile a day seat. The only problem with it is the red fades in this bright Nevada sun. They have several colors of the velour coverings as well as their "saddlehide" & leather coverings. As with most custom seats, it takes about 500 miles to break in. It IS a rather firm seat, but on long mileage days, I find that works much better than the soft Harley reach seat that was on the bike when I got it. Of course, the usual disclamers apply -- I don't own stock on Saddlemen, or Drag Specialties, but it IS a GREAT seat. The biggest reason I've started using Saddlemen seats is that their touring seats are split between the back & bottom so they don't bite the tailbone area. I banged up that part of my anatomy when I was younger so some seats are realy uncomfortable for me.

This one is comfortable. OH, there's an air bladder in the back rest so that you can adjust its contour & how much pressure you want on your back, which can be a real comfort on high milage days. For Sportster owners, I just happen to have a Saddlemen touring seat for '04 & up Sportster "C" models. I'd planned to switch to the big tank on my 883 "no letter", so got the "C" seat. The seat only has about 600 miles on it & it's covered with their "Saddlehide". I traded the Sporty in on the Ultra, but kept the seat.

Cool, the seat looks very comfortable and the color goes well with the cool looking trike. I think with our moisture problem here I would be wise to stick with good quality vinyl, easy to wipe off. Thank You for the info I'll check with Saddlemen.
