1. In my '09 trunk on the left floor there is a circular, non metallic black knob under the lip of the carpet just before the wheel well. Can anyone tell me what this is? 2.Also, I've noticed a small oil like deposit under my Stallion by the left rear tire. On investigating, located where the 'oil' had come from. It was from the upper back side of the trunk box. Any ideas? 3. Has anyone put a trunk lid spoiler on their Stallion? I've been running around ragged looking for one that will fit. 4. Has anyone installed a cup holder elsewhere in reach of the driver? I don't like the heat/air blowing on my drink or can you suggest a tried and true insulated cup that will keep your drink cold or hot?
I don't have any Stallion owners close to ask questions of, so any help will be appreciated.
I have ordered the air dams that someone on this forum posted about, rather than getting the Baker Air Wings. Since I am a new Stallion owner, I'm open to any and all changes you may have made on your Stallion. The previous owner, of my Stallion, did put LED lights on it so I don't have to think about those at the present. I will be adding some other lights that I have seen on the inside.

Thanks Gorilla. Any ideas as to my problems and questions? Have you had any problems posting on the forum? I posted twice tonight and neither of the posts appeared in full as I had written. One was close to being complete, but my signature information wasn't included. :( Now I'll try it again to see if it all appears. Do they censor things like Trike/bike organizations? My husband and I are state directors of ATR which I included in my signature and it was omitted. :(

Hi Schoolmarm , I had a spot on the left rear tire also . My was an antfreeze leak from a hose clamp that was loose. You have to take the left rear tire off to get to the hose clamp . I learned this , on this site, someone posted the fix, & it helped me , hope it helps you also .

I like folks that get on and don't have anything to say
1. is the main radiator cap cover, the overflow is under the hood but the radiator is in the back and the main cap is just inside the trunk on the left side under the plastic cover.
2. wild guess is the differential was over filled on most of the Stallions and if it gets hot enough such a 100 degree day and hard driving it will over flow on the left side of the differential. you should pull the fill plug and if any runs out it was overfilled, otherwise don't know. do recommend that you do this as it can blow back on the radiator and A C cooler and plug them up.
3. no
4. yes they make insulated cups. metal outside and metal liner inside, it will stay hot or cold depending what you put in it. Bed Bath and Beyond carry's them.

As far as the spoiler goes. Try Nutting Custom Trikes in NE Oklahoma. I believe they at least used to make one for the Stallion. They might still do so! I did some digging and found their number for you 918-257-8795. Hope that helps!!!

Like Silverdevil said, 1 is the radiator fill cap, but I use the overfill tank up front and 2 is probably the clamp on the return line to the radiator cap. I had that minor problem also and the line was not pushed on all the way and leaked after a long day in the Florida heat of summer.

The spoiler I have on my Stallion (see my photo album) was installed at Nutting Custom Trikes (918.257.8795). It's identical to the spoiler on my cargo trailer. Rick Nutting is the guy to talk to.

Thanks everyone for the information. I'll tell my husband and have him check the radiator. We put silver edging on today.
Thanks for your info Dean. Rick triked my husbands GW and he is the one we were going through for the new trike until the plug was pulled. I'll have to ask him again about the spoiler. I thought we had asked him about it before. I think he and my husband wanted me to put a luggage rack on and you can't do both! Rick is going to "fine tooth comb" my bike when I'm finally able to get it up to him. It's about a 3 hour drive for us to go up there, so I'm leaving the Stallion with him for a week so he can check it at his convenience.
As for the insulated cup, I will try to find a good cup. I'm still looking for a place to put a holder probably on the right side.
I think getting the trike like I want it as I can afford it, is almost as fun as riding right now! (I don't like riding in the cold and wind that we are having. And it seems like the sunny warm days, I'm working.:(
Keep those comments and information coming in. I'm sharing what I learn here with a friend in Tulsa who has a red Stallion. Her Stallion is the only bike she ever had!
A big thank you to Nana for her information on my posting problems. Ride safe.

Thought I'd let everyone know about the spoiler. I called and talked with Rick Nutting at Nutting's in Afton, OK. He said they are no longer making the spoiler because they took a lot of time and were't cost affective. I've ordered side curtains from a local man who recovered my scooter seat a couple of years ago. He is real reasonable, so I took the temporary curtains for a pattern. These were on the bike when it was delivered. I ordered white curtains, just to be different. My husband has designed a stallion patch that is being made locally, also. I'll have one sewn on each panel and one of the dash mat that I'm having installed.
I have LED directional arrows to be installed on the mirrors. And I have ordered the Air Dams recommended here on TT. Hpefully the side curtains will fit with the new Air Dams.
I 'liked' TT on Facebook where I'll sign on there with Schoolmarm.
