New Mexico is in for some difficult times with the new governor. Legislators are in session and a lot of stuff introduced that the governor wants. Here is what is happening in gun control. She has said she will sign.

I don't know why New York has their nose in this and creating problems for New Mexico residents. I can honestly say I do not like the governor and fear she will ruin the state. I have no problem writing my elected officials and will voice my opinion.
That is exactly what I was going suggest... Make sure the NRA is involved in the fight against that legislation!
I went to the NRA website and received a pop up for New Mexico and I filled it out and the site did the rest, but I'll make even more noise.
The document is from the NRA. Almost all the counties have voted in a 2nd addendum sanctuary county. This state is in turned upside down at this point.
Still waiting to see where this is going. Lot of people are fighting the gun bills, but I know this is just the beginning. As I receive my reports I will post them.
The NM gun legislation was signed by the governor last Friday evening. Very few changes to the original proposals. I should be able to get a full copy when the sessions are finished. Jim
