Hello, I am a new member from Parma Ohio. In the process of purchasing a 2017 HD Trike. I have been riding for 50 years starting when I was 10 yrs old. My Grandfather had an HD with a sidecar and He took me everywhere. That gave me a love of motorcycles and at 10 yrs old I started with a Honda 50. Rode it all over the back roads in Southern Ohio. I have had several over the years and now have to get off of two wheels because of my back. I have ridden Trikes in Tennessee when I visit friends so I am familiar with them. Just hate giving up my custom Sportster.

Elaine, Welcome to Trike Talk Forum. Upgrading to a Trike will encourage you to accept the Sportster as a good conversation piece.....:D

Elaine...welcome to TrikeTalk from west Texas!

Always happy to have another lady join the group.

Congrats on your new trike.

Elaine, welcome aboard from San Antonio, Texas. I have many fond memories from my Sportster days and my Road King days but now I enjoy the comfort of my Freewheeler and I know when the time comes that I can't ride anymore I will have lots of fond trike memories.

I have met some really nice people through this site and hope to meet even more in the coming years. Ride safe, have fun.

Hello!

i'm a new member from Silver Spring, MD. I'm currently negotiating to buy a 2018 FreeWheeler, the object(s) being to complete the last item on my bucket list by having a Harley and doing some low-impact touring thereon. I'm apprehensive because I read so many things about possible problems and design flaws, such as too much heat on the rider's legs, but I still want to buy one. I'm looking forward to learning much on this forum and meeting good, down to earth people in the process. Any and all help and personal opinions will be received with gratitude. Experience counts for everything on forums such as this one.

Welcome Elaine. Hometown was just up the road from you. Ashtabula. Now in Dayton & just got a TriGlide in July of 16. Love it.

Welcome to the forum from Pennsylvania, your still riding still in the wind trikes are a load of fun just different. ride safe Fred
