I have a 2009 Harley Ultra Classic with 16000 miles with engine upgraded to 103ci. I am diabetic and have been considering either buying a new Harley Trike or convert my present Harley. I want to stay with Harley but am a little concern about the heat problem. Glad to become a member.

Welcome to the website from the U.P.of Michigan. That is a common problem and there are many people on this site that have tackled id with various degrees of success. Personally I am a Gold Wing rider and not knowing for sure what to advise you, will let someone else chime in with their expertise. Ride safe.

Hello from AZ

Hello, I'm Ken from Gilbert AZ. I recently bought my first trike. A 2013 Harley Sportster. I think the ride is great and I feel safer on three wheels then I did on two. I'm still a bit nervous riding around 90 degree corners. My question (assuming I'm on flat ground) If I hit a corner too fast will the trike start to slid or skid or tip first.
I sure would hate to scratch up my new trike and look stupid at the same time. Good Forum, I'm glad I found it.

Welcome to the forum. My advice, me being a rookie...evaluate the kits available for your ride and don't rush your decison. I spent over 6 months deciding on which trike I would purchase. Granted I wasn't doing a conversion like your considering, but the time I put into research helped me make an informed, intelligent decision.
