Just bought my wife a new to us, 2009 GW with Lehman trike kit. Sold my 2002 GW and downsized to a very pretty black Vulcan Classic.
Getting ready for shoulder surgery and will miss a big part of the season this year (reason for both bikes).
Time will tell if I end up taking over her bike...:>) or stay on 2 wheels...

Ride safe

Welcome bearly ours! Glad you joined us.Good luck under the knife.Would not count on taking over hers.I think that will be to much of an undertaking what with recoop.going.Probably more of a fight than you will want.RIDE SAFE

Welcome aboard bearly ours, glad you found us. Good Luck with the shoulder

Welcome and Hello bearly ours!
We have a 2008 GW with the Lehman Monarch II kit.... really do like it!
We bought it for hubby last November.
However.... I found I liked it so much I decided I needed a trike.
Found a 2008 GW with the Motor Trike Adventure IRS for me just after Easter.
Ironically, the very same color and amenities as the other! I just love this thing!
We sold my Vulcan 900 Classic LT and his Suzuki Boulevard C50 and haven't looked back!
You'll find this forum is full of great advice and friendly people.
I think you're going to like her trike!
Best of luck with your surgery!

Welcome aboard from Texas. Glad you could join us. You make the best decision by joining Trike Talk. Good Luck with your 2009 trike.

Good luck with your shoulder Surgery! I have had both of mine worked on and I would think it depends on how quick you try to get back on the road. I don't think 2 wheels would be as tough on longer trips, but trike is very doable.
I just worked out trike and both shoulders to the tune of 500+ miles this past weekend.;)
