New member here from South Carolina

Im a new member here trying, like a lot of others to decide which I want a Harley or Can AM. I also come from two wheels and moving to three due to age and lack of common sense. I have ridden both in the last few weeks and am leaning toward a Spyder. I like the controls and looks of the TG because they are what Im used to. But everything else leans toward the Spyder. The handling and control are great as well as the turning. Ill make a decision this month but I have already been pricing both. Again just wanted to say "Hi" to all.

welcome aboard benny. Something to add to the equation is the dealership. do you do your own maintenance or are you going to need the dealer for that. If you are going to be doing a lot of trips the extent of the dealer network should be a consideration. have fun and ride safe no matter which one you purchased. remember it's your choice not someone else's.

Hey Benny....or should I say Neighbor, I live in Lexington on the Gilbert line between Hwy 1 and 378. Good luck on your decision, either way is good, just depends on what fits your needs best.
Look forward to meeting you and riding some in the future. :Coffee::Coffee:

You'll need to ride in reverse all the time to look like a normal trike if you get a CanAm. Too much practicing. :D

Seriously, welcome from eastern Kentucky...you've found the best forum on the net.

Support service was my choice

I have a Harley dealer numbers for support is everywhere with HD not so much for Spiders if you stay close home it is not an issue. Good luck with your choice which ever way you go. ThumbUp ride safely and often winter is coming:AGGHH: fearless

Benny, welcome to TT from Florida, take your time to decide, after all it is a big decision .

Thank you guys

Thank you guys for the welcome and the suggestions. Im still not sure but I notice all of the welcomes and most of the suggestions are from guys riding Tri-Glides. I think that says alot about the friendships in here, at least to me. I guess Ill have to think a bit longer and get it right.

Hello Benny and from the U.P. of Michigan welcome to the website. I am currently on my third Honda Gold Wing, but the first one that was made into a trike due to an accident with the second one. I also rode a Can Am and loved the cornering, it will almost send you out of the seat. But I didn't like the shifting, to me it seemed to me to be very hard on the drive train. I wish you luck and hope to hear about your decision.

Thanks

Thanks to every one. I have been on here for a while just not online a lot. I have a 2016 tri glide I love. I broke my neck about 3 years ago so had to give up 2 wheels but still love the ride.
