Welcome to TrikeTalk! You will soon be feeling comfortable with your trike. Take time on quiet roads and in empty parking lots to get the feel of steering before you spend a lot of time in traffic. You should not be surprised if you need about 500 miles before you are at ease, but I assure you that you will get there. This link will give you some great riding advice for newbies: http://www.triketalk.com/forum/gener...post-here.html

Everything will become second nature to you in about 500 miles, although I did pull into a parking spot reciently and tried to put my kickstand down.

Welcome! I also have a new 2012 Tri Glide and am new to both trikes and the forum. Both are great and in no time you'll be moving around them both with ease. ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE!
