Hi, I am joining trike talk to learn about trikes. I've ridden 2 wheels thus far, but my husband just wouldn't ride with me for fear of being injured. After some seed planting on my part and long thinking on his part, he has agreed to some back road and Skyline Drive/Blue Ridge Parkway rides. He would feel more protected on a trike, so I am now looking into buying one.
I must admit, that I have chosen to ride a Burgman 650 and a Ridley Autoglide most recently, so I'm a bit rusty on my clutching. I would love for Honda to introduce the double clutch transmission in the Goldwing for 2013. That would be a dream come true. Otherwise, I'll either have to get real and relearn or consider the Pengel push button electric gear changer. Anybody have experience with those? Downshifting looked kinda rough.
I have a lot to learn and am looking forward to the process. Thanks for being a resource in the internet wilderness!
