New Hannigan trike owner

One super fine looking rig. How much does pulling that beautiful trailer affect your gas mileage? It seems that trailer in very aerodynamic so that should help quite a bit.

That's one thing I'm going to be learning this summer when I pull my Aluma MCT out west. I know when I pulled it with my Harley Triglide it normally cost me 7 - 10 mpg to pull it. I'm not sure what my Wing will do when pulling it. I have to believe that Hannigan trailer will be a little easier on fuel since it looks to be pretty aerodynamic.

I pull a non aerodynamic trailer. The wing can pull it almost 80 % of the time in 5th. Cost me 2 miles to the gallon. At 75+ MPH more like 5mpg. Mine weighs about 120 empty and about 400 full. Most of the time I forget I have it behind me. 2 up on real long inclines it needs 4 th or 3rd.

I pull a matching Hannigan trailer behind my Gen. 2 Hannigan Goldwing. 90% of the time the trailer is behind me and 2 up. The trailer pulls so well I often look in the rear view mirror to make sure it's still there! Charley
