New handle bars

2017 triglide I just put on set of pre wired meth hook handle bars (I have changed bars on this bike before) had to fish the throttle cables thru the bars got it all put back together the ignition switch gave me a hard time getting it back in but eventually I did

But now I have a check engine light bike starts and seems to throttle just fine

Any ideas

The first thing is to find the fault code and go from there. A lot of times if you did not pull main fuse while work was being done will set a code.

I think that’s what happened all the codes were for the twist throttle I cleared the codes and the light went out everything seems to be working

But I have not taken it out yet to be sure

I have read a bunch of stuff on this and quit a few talk about

Not disconnecting battery will do it also

I will see when I take it out
