John If your looking for a TRI GLIDE, Up here in MASS. TIBBYS HD SPRING FIELD HAS ONE, ALDOS HD BERNARSTON HAS ONE , TSI in Ellington, SOUTHAMPTON HD IN SOUTHAMPTON. That was about two weeks ago & all were selling for MSRP, If your a good negotiator I would think you could get one below MSRP ?? CHECK EM OUT

Sheldon's Harley in Oxford MA doesn't have any. I was there 2 Saturdays ago and asked them about it - said they only get 3 per year per model year??? As she explained it, 3 the first half of 09 for the 09 models, and 3 the second half of 09 for the 2010 models (sounds like 6 per year to me, but maybe my math is wrong? ). They said HD was only making a limited number per year until they see how well they sell.....since everyone I've talked to seems to be on a waiting list, I'd say they're selling pretty well!! Time to ramp up production, maybe?? But what do I know....

Did you ask sheldon ho much over MSRP THEY GOT I heard $38000. - $40000. depending how good a customer you are LOL.

Looking is about all I'm doing - I'm lucky I can afford gas & tolls to get to work right now! And nope, didn't ask them the price - already learned I can't afford them!! :no: I'll "look" at Sheldon's; if/when I can afford it, I'll "buy" elsewhere.

I have to agree on the Tri-Glide. I would have had one but I am impatient and some of the sales pitches were not for me.

I love the Champion reverse. I don't think twice about parking. Pop it in and back up. Works great.

I think I have to agree. More pluses than minuses going that way.

Now for a reality check. I had a meeting Monday with the VP of the company I work for and it looks like they are going to consolidate the three shops that we have. I am over one of them and it is up in the air on who will be left standing when it is all said and done. Better to find out now instead of after soaking up 30k plus in debt. That being said it looks like "Ye Old Trike" is being put on hold for the time being.

Thanks for all of ya'lls input. When the time is right at least I know which way I'm gonna go.
