Just replaced my front tire on my 2007 flhtc with champion kit and am having a vibration problem. the bike has no vibration until it gets over 65mph and then it just vibrates more the faster you go and i did not have this problem with the old tire. i am going back to the Harley dealer to see what they can do for me but when i called they said it could be a lot of things and they will have to check them out. the tire they installed was a Dunlop wide whitewall 402 and the one i replaced was a Avon. I did watch them balance the tire from the service window and noticed when they spun it to check the balance they only gave it a real slow spin. Has anybody got any suggestions what the problems could be if it is not the tire even though that is where i think it is but many of you know more than i do and i am always learning from this great site.

Have them give it a high speed balance. Tires that balance with a bubble balance or a low speed still can be out of balance at high speed. If you do not get any satisfaction you can put DYNABEAD's in and that will probably take care of your problem.

like i said previously stated i learn quite a bit from this forum as i have never heard of dynabeads before and now i will look into them.

Before you jump on the beads, read the info in the link I posted. You might just want to swing that way!!!!!
Have used that product in my tires for years as it not only balances, it provides puncture protection.

I see that the kit comes with two packages of beads , do you put one or both of them in the tire? thanks for that reply, also it was quite informational.

Put them in per the instructions. Let us know if the take care of the problem and how you like them.

We have quite a few different combo packages that you can see HERE.

This is what should be run in the tires-

80 - 120 mm tire width 1 oz
130 - 230 mm tire width 2 oz
240 - 360 mm tire width 3 oz

Rear Tri-Glide Tires 4 oz

i replaced my old front tire dunlop 130/16 404 with a rear dunlop 130/16 402. I had balance beads in the front 404, when i removed the tire those beads had [all but 6] turned to dust. There was no vibration nor any wear pattern problem on this tire but I only got 5500 miles out of it.
The rear tire, which was put on the front backwards [which sucked] then turned to roll forwards [night and day improvement] i used RIDE ON tire sealant/ballancer. this stuff seems to work just as well as the old PJ1 that I can no longer find. 3000 miles and still extremely happy.
