Hi gang!

I have been riding (off and on) for 50 years, starting with a Honda 50 in 1964, a 305 Superhawk in 1966 and a Harley FLH in 1982. After a 30 year hiatus I picked up a Honda VT750C recently and the idea of turning it into a trike just hit me.

At 65 and in this part of the country a trike would suit me to a T! With some cargo space (for groceries) and a 3-wheeled stance (for gravel and slippery roads) it would get a lot more use than a 2-wheeler.

As the eldest daughter of a mechanic and having designed, built, rebuilt, and/or repaired everything from steam engines to airplanes a custom designed and built trike isn't out of the question. :D

I look forward to gleaning ideas and information from these forums to help evolve the concept for a ground-up trike build/conversion for the 750.

Welcome, Dianne, from downtown Central Texas! Designing your own trike would be really cool as you can make it yours, and yours alone. Also would be great for you to post pictures of your custom build (should you decide to do that) as you go along, and let us enjoy the build with you. Post often, be safe, and stay warm this winter (down here winter means putting on a long sleeve shirt).
