My dealer is completing the install of the Viper kit on my 13 GW. They have stated that the CSC kits come in and need adjustments and/or possibly rebuilding. They alluded that I would be responsible to pay for this. Does this sound right? I paid $2k for the install I would think they or CSC is responsible for making the kit right. Thoughts?

IMHO, I believe there are "adjustments" required to make most kits "fit" a they should. There are variations in any vehicle build as well as the conversion build, usually called build tolerances. Some more than others.

No, I do not believe you should be required to pay any extra. You were quoted a price and that should be it.

"possibly rebuilding"

Those words would throw up a huge red flag to me!

I understand the adjustments for my bike and feel that should be covered under the install pricing. However, when they said that the kit may need rebuilt, it make me wonder what the quality of the kit I bought if they need to rebuild it right after manufacture. Just concerning.

Just thinking out loud here..... Garry..'But maybe a call to CSC is in-order on your part and ask them whats going on?...

++ on talk to CSC. My dealer gave me a price to 13 install. Gave him the bike on Sat. Came back following Sat and picked up a trike. No extras, no gouges, just good guys and good work.

luck on your call.
