Will probably replace the battery on my 2018 Tri glide this winter, original battery still going strong after 21,000 miles, no problems just don’t want it to die while I’m out, always keep it on a tender when not riding. My question is what is everyone using as a replacement?, is there any new battery tech out there?, what are your recommendations. Thank you in advance, you all are a great bunch.

The big crank from Battery-Mart via Amazon .....

You will get a lot of recommendations Steve . The OEM HD matinence free worked for you for 4 years . I would stick with it . Battery pricing is way up also . My opinion . Ride safe .

Battery

I purchased my 19 Tri Glide in August of 2018. Still running the original battery and it seems to be holding up well. As I ride it a lot I see no need to put it on a tender over the summer months. Now that it's getting cool here in North Carolina at night, I have the tender on a timer for half an hour a night. It is fully charged when I check it out in the morning. At 4 years old I am keeping my eye on it. I know it won't last forever. When it starts to slow start I will look around for a replacement. I always carry a jumper box with me.

I replaced the battery in my 17 when it was 5 years old, it was still starting but seemed a little slow at times. Went with the HD just because I had some gift cards. In my Road King i used a battery Plus battery and i am very happy with it.

I too like and use Battery Plus batteries, they have a 2 year warranty and have locations in most major cities

My 2015 Freewheeler battery just gave up last week. Yeah, 7 years! I got a Duracell battery from Battery Plus.

$165 total and a 2 year warranty. I hope in 7 years I can give a good review on it.🤞

Well, your current battery worked out well - why not stick with that
