I found these pics of Arctic Cat's new Wildcat trikes on the Wildcat forum. They have both conventional and RT models. Anyone know anything about these? I'd love to find out more about them.

I love the new arctic cat trike designs. They may only be "concept" and "prototype" at this point however all new vehicles start this way. I'm sure arctic cat released these pictures to see how people like them.

Releasing some "spy" picture of a new product without many details is a cleaver way of creating buzz and gauging customer interest for a relatively low cost, although by no means unique or original. I am a bit skeptical about Arctic Cat as a company however their lines of Wildcat motorcycles and ATVs are pretty impressive so I have hope for the Wildcat trikes.

A little diggin' got me this:
Wildcat Automatic Trikes

This company has nothing to do with Arctic Cat's trike project and the trikes pictured in this thread. It is a one man operation in the UK that primarily does custom trike conversions. When I contacted them I was told they do not export their trikes outside of the UK because the differing regulations in each country make it prohibitive.

I read on the Wildcat forum that Arctic Cat’s trikes will have significant steering and stability enhancements including rear wheel steering and an active suspension system that will make them handle better than any currently available trikes. My understanding is the rear steering works to turn the rear wheels in coordination with the front wheel. The rear wheels turn with the front wheel instead of going straight when the front wheel is turned. This will make the trike much more responsive and easier to turn, particularly at higher speeds. I’m not sure exactly how the active suspension works however I think it stiffens and performs similar to Lehman’s no lean suspension in turns while providing all the advantages and comfort of a fully independent rear suspension at all other times. I can’t wait to demo one of these Arctic Cat trikes. I hope they are at Sturgis next year.
