Need Info on removing cup holders

Hi all,
Would like to know if there is something I need to watch for in removing the part of the body above the cup holders and the cup holders. Do I have to remove the a/c vent cover? Are the only screws the ones in the cup holders and the ones where the hood close over?
I am not a mechanic but do need to do this soon but dont want to bite off more then i can chew.

On my 08 model you take out the four bolts on the top and the two in the cup holders the panel comes right off. You shouldn't get into anything just watch out and don't drop the nuts on the top bolts.

mine comes off just as Ed stated. the vent stays in the panel by itself.
