I am just looking for opinions. We are supposed to pick up a 5th wheel toy hauler with 16' seperate garage. Do you think it's overkill? We have a Harley Ultra Classic bike and an Ultra Classic Roadsmith Trike. Do you think we could have used the 14' garage? We went with the 16' because of the drop of the floor at the ramp/door was afraid the back wheels of the trike might be hanging off and I want them flat on the floor. Opinions please ASAP we are picking it up tomorrow. (Towing w/ Chev 3500 diesel dually, no probs there.) Thank you

Ron and I have a 14' garage, but the toyhauler is a wide body, so we have a little extra room. I have a TG and he has a RK. Here's a pic

I forgot about the difference in some of the toy hauler widths. I guess we'll be fine with 16' as the width is 99". Thanks for the pic TNT.

Thanks, just a little nervous. Driving 8 hours to pick up a 5th wheel I've never seen. Trading in a 2 yr old 26 foot toy hauler because the new trike won't fit. Rather go big than make the same mistake again.

I totally understand. We needed something big enough for the trike and bike, for sure didn't want to make a mistake. We also didn't want something bigger than we needed. We did go look at our toyhauler before buying. It was used and we just needed to make sure it looked as good as the pics. Lucky for us that it was only one hour drive from where we live! Another plus was the graphics matched our truck. Buying used saved us about $45,000.00. We did have to invest in new tires (7), some other minor stuff, but we love our toyhauler. We were cleaning it and a storm blew up, and ripped the awning off. With the insurance replacement cost, we added $250.00 from our pocket and bought an automatic retrack awning. Yeehaw! It's not the latest and greatest model, but it sure satisfies our needs. All in all we were truly fortunate to get the complete package. Good luck on your purchase. I hope you are as satisfied as we are. Be sure to post a pic when you get it home!

Well we purchased the toy hauler today. It is so much more than we expected, absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to get her to Americade in 2 weeks. Not able to go to make it to Maggie Valley, all tapped out for this year.
