Need a Hitch For Our Trike

My wife has a Honda VTX 1800 with a Motor Trike conversion. We are looking into getting a trailer to pull behind it to haul camping supplies and other stuff. The only thing I need to do figure out how to rig up a trailer hitch on the trike. I called Motor Trike today and the girl I spoke with said they didn't make trailer hitches for the VTX 1800, BS! Now I am stuck with trying to find a local welder to help design something and weld it up. Has anyone here made their own hitch for their trike?? Does anyone with a MotorTrike conversion have some pictures of their hitch from the underside maybe?
