I have a bushtec trailor and a 2010 stallion. Can anybody give me some guideance in wireing ?
I also have problems with turn signals and brake lights. All fuses have been checked at both locations and are good.
Does the relay in front of the fuse box have to be ordered from Texas or can they be found at the local parts store?
A lot of questions I know but Im in a bind. Was supposed to leave on a trip Monday and trike still at the paint shop. It does look good though. LOL
Anyway thanks for any help.

I will give you some help but I am not familiar with the bushtec trailer wiring. How many wires need to go to it? I went back into the wiring harness behind the left rear wheel where it entered the truck area and wired in a new pigtail to pickup all the leads I needed for my 6 wire trailer. I could not locate the converter installed by Stallion for their 4 wire setup.

So I just bypassed it with another pigtail connector.

The relay is one of the 3 attached to the cross member to the rear of the fuse box. They are standard FORD relays. Is it both the turn signals and brake ligts that do not work or just the brake lights?

The Bushtec has a six wire plug but two of the wires are togetherafter the plug. At this time only the leftbrake light is not working on the Stallion.
Thanks for the info... Love this board.

Sounds like a bulb or maybe a wire at the socket for the left brake. The carpet can be pulled loose in the trunk to get to the area you need to.

The 6 wire is

White is an electrical ground. Same as on your current pigtail you can use it.

Yellow is the left turn,
Green is the right turn
Red should be your brake lights you will have to pick this up from the harness
Brown is the running lights

Black or Blue is the 12 hot lead to run a interior light or something in the trailer.
PM Adventuror (sp) on this forum. He has the same setup that you have, Bushtec and Stallion, and his is all wired up and working. I'm sure he can help you.

Thanks to all of you for the help. The main problem was a bad conector on the left light. Got that taken care off.
Took the bike and trailor to U-haul here in Vegas and two hours later all is working good. Packing now for Ca to start the Run For The Wall Ca to DC.
Thanks again to all of you.
