On my last ride from AZ to Las Vegas the Stalliion didnt feel stable at all. When letting up on the gas it would feel like the backend would wobble. Then going into a corner, maybe a little hot, it started to rock on me. SCAREY. Took it to The local Ford here and they checked it out. Said tie rod ends and brake caliper stabalizers had excessive play and the piman arm was loose. all were replaced and retorrqued. Great so picked it up and on the way home went on the highway and it felt worse. Even pulled over to check if a tire had gone down it was that bad.

This is a 2010 with only about 11000 on it. I run 25 lbs on rear tires 41 on front. Air bags about 24 to 30. Now my question is does anybody have any idea what to check now? also one other thing when i get in it feels like no support on the right side or at leaast not enough. Called TBS was told to see the ford dealer which i will do but would like some thing to suggest to them to look at.
Thanks to all this is a great Forum.

Terry - Will you please give us a call and ask for Richard Purdy? After reading through your problem he is led to believe that you may have a ladder bar issue. He'll be able to talk you through it. 800-908-7453

Wow-- That is something. Just got off the phone with Ford and have an appointment for Friday. Ill get ahold of Richard in the morning.
Dont you just love this place. Thanks all

This is the type of service you always get from Jeff & Dianne at TBMS. Great service & a GREAT TRIKE.. Charlie D.ThumbUp

Problems solved and the Stallion is again stable. Many thanks are due to TBMS and Richard Purdy for working closely with Gaudin Ford (Las Vegas). The problem seemed to be a broken trailing arm and a bad shock absorber. It is once more the vehicle in the Vegas area at least in myhumble opinion. LOL
Thanks to all on the forum also.

Sounds like you found a great Ford dealer to work with and also TBMS came through for you as well. I could also use some help with my Stallion, but have not found a Ford dealer to take it to. I have tried calling a few Ford dealers in the Pensacola FL. area, but they are not familiar with the Stallion. I sure could use some help finding one to take it to. I have no cruise control, when turning the wheel for a curve it like "skips" before it "catches" when turning and I also have a "ticking" noise when applying the brakes up in the front area. I could use a Ford dealer at this time, any suggestions?

I am really surprised that World Ford can't help you. If it is just the cruise control...the steering wheel controls are off of the Ranger...I would think they would just call TMS and fix the cruise control. I am sorry they haven't helped much...I will try and see Mason in Service on Monday and see if there is anyone that TMS can call to help you with this.

I to have not been successful either finding a Ford dealer that will work on my stallion. I have been stuck making the necessary repairs myself until yesterday when I decided to use a good local mechanic that has worked on some of my stuff in the past. TBMS. did everything they could to help and they (Richard) came through with flying colors and worked with the mechanic over the phone. They settled right up and now its ready

I too had trouble finding a Ford dealer but lucked out with this one. They had never seen a Stallion and are learning about it but not afraid to try. They put thier #1 man on it that works on all there fancy cars and they service rep has gone above and beyond to keep me informed ect. I am a Happy man. If in Las Vegas Nv and need work on your Stallion take it to Gaudin Ford.

I have found that any auto mechanic that is willing to work on the Stallion can do warranty work. We owners don't have to rely on either a Stallion or a Ford dealer to do work. A good mechanic is always looking for work.
