Mystery Design rear end problem

So I picked up this ‘06 Deluxe with a cool Mystery Design Cobra kit, but found a ton of metal slung up on the rear caliper and drive sprocket. Trouble is, the company is apparently out of business.
Any idea what rear end/company I can look at to replace it?
Any help is appreciated!

First thing to do is determine where the metal is coming from. Then you can start looking for replacement parts sources. Mystery was a small, family owned company and did not manufacture most of the parts that were used, they were out-sourced and may or may not be available, but they can be reproduced. This is the route I would take before electing to scrap and replace the whole conversion.

Good point, I have no knowledge of these rear ends. I’m assuming there are carrier bearings at each end. But it looks like grease has come out of that cover, with lots of metal in it.
I can’t find any exploded views of the rear end yet to get an idea of what I’m dealing with inside.
