Picked up In Florida this weekend. The missus and I flew down friday morning to get our new ride. Our old 2011 spyder was there in the showroom, so It was kind of bittersweet.

We test drove the 2014 spyder, a GW road smith trike, did a lot of DD on the R18 reverse trike from the netherlands and finally the Rewaco. As you can see, the Rewaco was the one for us. Drove it home to NJ saturday and sunday, 1100 miles of nothing but smiles. This is the furthest we ever took a bike, so it was a little nerve wracking to say the least, esp since it was so different than the spyder. Shifting left handed and the rear width being 2 of them. It worked out great and we arrived safe & sound. A couple of shots inside the garage which needs a major cleanup...Its 3 ft longer than the spyder and 18" wider so it was a quick make room before we left friday. A few picts!

Also like to mention the guys at Trike Traders in Lake alfred Fl..

This isn't a large operation, but they sure go out of there way to please. A big thanks to shaun & Aaron Cady for the great service and thanks for bringing these awesome trikes to the USA!!

Thank you guys!! Those "floorboards" are great for stretching out the legs. Very comfortable ride.

WOW! It's unique and beautiful. You'll get a lot of "thumbs-up" on Rt 130 ThumbUp

Hey Neighbor, thanks!!

Comfortable ride? It has a 10+ gallon fuel tank and except for one helmet adjustment pit stop and gas, never felt the need to get off. That includes the missus. I was pretty amazed at the comfort level.

Again, thanks everyone!!

Great ride! Specs? Inline four-turbo? Automatic or standard? Any room for luggage? Can you put a trailer hitch on it?
IRS? Hand brake?
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Rosy, I will try to answer your questions.

This is a 5 spd standard + reverse.
4 cylinder, non turbo 140 HP Approx 38 mpg(Inline 4 cylinder Ford Zetec with multi-port fuel injection)
The trunk held 2 full size carry on luggage bags packed, and lots of things tucked around it.
Yes, a trailer hitch is available.
Only a foot brake. Front and rear are integrated.(i'm sure they have the ability to have a hand brake, as some disabled riders need it.)
IRS -Yes

The turbo model I believe is being inspected by the EPA, 201 HP...WOW.
The automatic USA model is close to being shipped here from germany, and it will go directly to the EPA.

It is very comfortable for both rider and passenger. Hope that helps!!

No secret here , my favorite trike and that's a nice one congrats . What I like about the rear engine based trike is the comfort level , I've ridden a lot of bikes over the years and IMO nothing is more comfortable than a rear engine trike . So enjoy and get ready for all the attention you'll get when you and friends ride up ,,,,TRUST ME .ThumbUp

Thanks Rick....i had read previous post by you before taking the leap since there isn't a whole lot of info on the rewacos. (so its partially your fault:laugh:)

But you are correct, we were both amazed at the comfort level. Neither one of us had to get off the bike from sitting to long from Florida to NJ......My concern was sitting so low before we test drove back in august. That turned out to be what i like the most, sitting in the bike instead of on top of it. You never know until you try things, that holds very true in this case.

I think these will do well once more people see them and try them out.

I have no idea how, but I somehow managed to miss this thread up 'till now. Wow - got a great looking trike - enjoy!

If you would, please PM me your "regular" email address and I'll add you to the small, but growing, list of "Jersey Trikers"... "someday" we hope to have some sort of "meet-greet-eat" affair and that way, you'll be on the list. ThumbUp

Best regards....
