My new 2020 Spyder RTL

Congratulations. One of my riding buddies got a 2020 RTL. Same color as yours. He traded in his 2015 RTL. Beautiful machines. The 2020 model is a real winner. Enjoy... Jim

I've always removed the cat from any bike I've owned to cut the heat plus the cat weighs 30 lbs. But I was getting an average of 45-48 mpg with the cat now I get 35-40 mpg.

you changed the back pressure that the ecm was looking at to do its calculations. look at DK products. they sell aa disk that can be installed to restore some back pressure putting it back in tune without the cat issues.

DK's.....

Thunder Torque's.......I had to use them on my 11 Tri-Glide when i remove the Cat and added slip-ons..They work wonders to get the back pressure back' They bolt on in 20 minutes...ThumbUp...

Modern bikes require some back pressure to run efficiently. Although normally people complain of lost low end torque, not lost mpg. So now I'm curious, did you not notice any lost power? BTW, I've always liked that color of blue you got there. Congratulations!!!
