At a class reunion, I told my old school mate (who never moved out of WV) that I had a trike and about how much my wife and I enjoyed it.
I guess that inspired that old competitive, "you ain't getting ahead of me" spirit that we had in high school. I got a note from him telling me how he and Betty June were now riding a trike too. Not only that; but being the engineering sort he always was, he built the whole thing himself and from parts he had laying out in back of the doublewide.
He enclosed a photo of their pride and joy which they are trailering to Daytona in February and intend to enter it in the custom trike completion.
By the way, he's invited us to come down and go riding with them, but we'll probably decline.
