My 1st Trike

That's Exciting.....:clapping::clapping:

I bought my first Trike in May, and I couldn't be happier!
We're riding in the Allegheny area of Pennsylvania next week. It should be lots fun.....:pepper:

Just a reminder...Take it easy the first 4 or 500 miles as you get used to cornering and road placement....Also, don't forget to leave it in gear when you park, ( or it just rolls away) and watch how close you pull up to gas pumps...

You will love it. Congrats!

I should know by next monday when my 2008 will be a trike.

So... Tommy, you didn't happen to mention that you have a Goldwing and are getting a Roadsmith conversion.

You've now entered the kingdom of the Trikers.

Known world wide (yes, in the entire Galaxy) as the most congenial and knowledgeable group of riders ever assembled in one place!

Let it be known now... If you don't tell us about yourself, post pictures and submit ride reports, we will forever relegate you to the lurker underworld.

:D

Ok here's a little about me...this is my 4th goldwing my first was a GL1000 then a GL1500 & then two GL1800's my first 1800 I put 122,000 miles on it & rode it to all 49 states & 8 provinces of Canada with my wife on the back from our home in Ala. My wife can't mount the two wheeler now, she can ride just hurts to get on & off the bike, we rode tested a trike 2 weeks ago & she can get on & off the trike, so that is the number 1 reason for doing the trike deal.
Also I am starting to have some knee & back pain after a long ride & I think I have been very lucky since my teenage days in J-ville, Fla. I have rode 2 wheeler's since 1959 without a bad wreck ( hit a couple of dogs in highlands when in high school ) so why push my luck.

I guarantee you will ask yourself why you didn't do the trike thing sooner after you get her. Let the fun begin!

My Wing-Smith

I'm 85 and after a quadruple bypass a couple of years ago and a stroke this past March, I wouldn't be riding at all were it not for my 2006 GL1800 Wing-Smith!
After the stroke my doctor said I wouldn't be able to ride at all. Period.
He was wrong - I was back on the trike 40 days after the stroke and I'm appreciating every second of every ride.
You're gonna LOVE that trike!
