I have the 2014 Motor Trike Razor. I have consistently always gotten 30MPG and some change. At 8000 miles I did my own oil change and used the Fram Motorcycle high flow oil filter. I compared the Honda filter with this one and the holes for oil flow are so much bigger in the Fram.

The very first thing I noticed was the motor seemed so much smoother and quieter, right out of the garage. Been riding it quite a bit, with the first fill up, I checked my mileage and I got 34mpg and change. I have never gotten this kind of mileage. I heard that it would help mileage a bit, but 4MPG is awesome. I got my Rotella T6 at Walmart for $19.57. I like the oil so much, I went back and bought the last 3 gallons and going to use it in both of my cars as well.

I am totally happy with this oil.:D

Used Rotella in my big trucks for years , wouldn't use anything else also use it in my pickup .:clapping::clapping:

One thing I forgot to mention, it is thanks to all of the other posters about this oil that I bought it.

Thanks so much.

Just remember if you use this kind of oil in a older engine with a lot of miles it well ciean them out to the point they well likely state using oil. KEEP IT SAFE AND RIDE DAILY BIG DENNY :pepper: :AGGHH: :kpzxvq:

OK, I give up. Tell me more about this "Motorcycle High Flow" oil filter. What is the part number for it? Better yet, do they make one for a GL1500?

Hopefully this link will work, this is the one I got for the GL1800. I would assume you could find one for the GL1500 as well.

OK, Thanks. Thats the one I found but it didn't say anything about "High-Flow" so I wasn't sure. And that is the same number listed for my 1500 as well. Thanks again for taking the time to respond with pictures!

I think it does on the box. It has much bigger flow holes than the OEM filter. I held the two together before I installed the new one.

Be careful using synthetic oil in high mileage cars.

I put it in my Caddy with 150,000 miles and immediately developed an oil leak in the main bearing. Apparently the main bearing was worn and did not leak with conventional oil but the synthetic has super capillary abilities and caused the leak.
