I'm getting ready to take the plunge and get one for my gl1800, anybody know where the best deal is?

No mine was for TG.

I used Mustang seats on my old cruisers, but when I got my first GL1500A, Mustang didn't make a seat for it. Short while later, I got my first Valkyrie, no Mustang for it, either. So, I ordered an Ultimate seat. Must say, it's the best seat I've ever used. Ultimate on both Valkyries now.

They do make a seat for the GL1800 if you can't find a Mustang.

I looked, and they make two seats positions for the GL1800,

Mustang is suppose to move you down and back about an inch or so.

We went with the ultimate too and have loved it from day one. It came UPS the day before Ralley in the Valley two years ago---we stayed up till late that nite getting it installed.<br />
left the following morning and rode to the Valley---600 miles ---on a new seat---never sore---

Ultimate seat put on last year at the begining of a 4k trip. Great choice.

The Ultimate seat is comfortable. Dealing with the company is not. I had a Mustang on my C50T and loved it. Wish they were available on the GL 1800.

Well got my Mustang seat in from Mustang Goldwing GL1800 Seat -8975 Mustang Suzuki 1500 Intruder Two-Piece Studded Seat-75950 $414.95 [75950] - $658.95 : BikerTrends, Biker supplies at the BEST prices!. That was an experience. They had to order it from Kury and Kury will not drop ship to their customers. So what happens next... OH yeah I wait eight days for Kury to ship my item to Biker Trends (Their places of business are not far from each other). After that BT can ship to me quickly. So from start to finish about 11 days for shipping. Would I order from biker trends again? Oh Hell Ya, their price for the seat was $100.00 dollars less than Kury's price.

Just back from Myrtle Beach 650 miles down in one day on stock seat, lots of pain in the butt. Purchased mustang seat for ride home $500.00 still lots of pain in butt,now lets see how easy the return policy is. And now what seat is next ? 2011 TRI

If you don't give your butt time to heal first there ain't no custom seat that will work for you. About nine hours into my ride up to Amarillo I bruised my tailbone. If I would of bought a Mustang seat up there and rode back my butt would of still hurt.
