MTC Voyager Standard Kit

Can you remove your rear wheel yourself? The rear axel has to be removed to mount the rear brackets. The kickstand has to be removed to mount the front plate. Reason I do not know how they expect you to ride it as a 2 wheeler. I had to remove mine. The rest is straight forward. Have a helper or 2 help you with install . Pre load the rear. How to do that: After it is installed drive center rear tire onto a piece of 1" board. Loosen rear brackets ( U bolts) and force both out rigger wheels to touch the ground. Tighten the rear U bolts.

Just placed an order for the kit. I'm mid-wrench level ability but just wanted to check to see if I'm biting off more than I can chew converting my Electric Glide with this kit, in other words doing the job myself.http://www.triketalk.com/forum/images/smilies/gah.gif

I just did mine and it'll pro'bly be too late for your project, but here's what I found. Don't believe the installation manual completely as they've never up dated it. They have a couple of installation videos on their website. Watch them completely...twice. In my case I had to go to turn-down slip-ons to keep the exhaust from hitting the back cosmetic plate... an '06 classic. Newer models are all the way across... Talk to the tech if you have any questions. Lots of great info, and they share. Hope yours worked out for ya...2014-06-05 18.06.44 (Medium).jpg2014-06-05 18.07.30 (Medium).jpg2014-06-05 18.06.44 (Medium).jpg2014-06-05 18.07.30 (Medium).jpg
