I have a friend that mounts his camera on a suction cup mount to the front garnish between the left head lamp and the windshield. He has a lanyard attached to it and the left mirror but the suction cup has never let go and he has thousands of miles on that set up.

The Wing is so smooth that the picture quality is wonderful and you don't have anything in front of the camera but scenery.

I mounted mine with thw mounts supplied with my GoPro. Put the mounts on oriented 90 drgrees from where the manual suggests, to eliminate much vibration. My primary mount is on the fairing just below the windshield vent.
Good Luck! Bob

I used one of the stick on mounts and installed it dead center on the windshield just below the vent. I've had it on there for over a year now. I took it off once using some fishing line just to make sure I could get it off if I wanted to.

It takes great videos from there and as the other poster said there is nothing in front of you and it give a great "riders" view. I have the USB cord wired to a 12v source so with a 32gig card it will film for 8 hours at a time.

I use the Ram mounts. I have one by my right grip and one mouted on my left side crash bar.
On the one by my right grip I have extensions that can get it out to the right of the windshield or back towards me and will get the speedo or I can get it right up behind the windshield.
