motor trike fender lights

The fender lights on my motor trike kit are turn signal/running lights only.

Has anyone converted these so they also are brake lights? Or can this even be done? Prior to the conversion I converted the turn signals on my HD so they were turn signal/running/ and brake lights with a kit from the dealer. The same kit does not work on the conversion.

Bill, if your talking about the regular tailights, the ones on my Goldwing 2+2 are all three ( tail/turn/brake), then theres the ones in the upper trunk. I'm not sure if the ones for HD are any different. Maybe Bazooka or some of the installers here can answer. Good luck and ride safe....

I guess HD is diffrent. I called Motor Trike and they said fender lights can only be wired for two functions, turn/running or running/brake.

Was hoping there was a way to wire turn/brake/running.

Lights

While we are on the subject of MotoTryke lights.....I have the ultra classic kit and it has the upside down tombstone lights. Anyone have any experience or ideas on changing lights to another style. The kit has been on the bike for 3 years. Looking for ideas....Maybe the teardrop leds they use on the other kits?
