More Brake Questions..rear brakes this time

Got a question about the rear brakes. After the front is done, looks like I need to change the rear pads. I'm not sure what kind of caliper this is..



First of all, what kind of pad should this get? As for the bleeder screws, how do you bleed a dual bleeder setup? Haven't seen one like that before...

Caliper looks like a VW Akebono type, bleed the top first followed by the bottom
The pads can be easily pulled out by taking the 2 keepers of the pad pins and slide the pins out, now you can push the pistons in( clean the piston and dust boot first)

That's good...was afraid that I would have to detach the line to get the caliper off...glad those just pull off. When you pull the pads, can you get to the pistons with a c clamp? Obviously have not looked at it with the wheel off yet, just want to know what I'm getting into first...
Not finding anything on the Akebono site...doesn't go past 78, and doesn't list VW. Do you have any part numbers in mind, or places to look for these pads?

You can use a big blade screw driver to push the pistons in

your brake pads should look like these

One thing to consider is there are variations of the pads, you will want to match your pads up with an Auto parts store.

Napa used to have the Big Book with pictures so that was a plus, everything now is on line, makes matching parts a bit tougher

I checked my brake spec book and We have identified your caliper so that is a good start.
