Got a ride in with the wife today to lunch . Finally a real ride. Over the last week I changed the oil and primary and transmission but I did the same in all the holes and that was a mistake. I really had no idea how clean the transmission lube was or id have left it alone.
I have to run across town Wednesday and I am going to get a qt of synthetic gear oil and change the transmission lube again.
All I did by using the thinner oil was introduce a big time clunk shifting up or down . I dont like that at all.
It was worth a try maybe or maybe not . Shoulda actually stayed with the old 2006 glide recipe. 15w50 mobile 1 . Redline shockproof in the trans and good old 10w40 primary
Worked for 65k
Still getting used to the hydraulic clutch and the off stop sign rpm to get er moving. Of course then there is the extra wheel in the rear
Anyway heres some new pics. Still havent pulled the trigger on the rear bumper but its on the list !
