Milege on 2015 TG's?

I went through my 2015 TG manual and found the ratings for fuel mileage.
I am Canadian, so I am talking in liters and kms.

Basically the manual says that I should get 360 kms to a 22.7 liter tank.
In US language that is 223 miles to 6 US Gallons.

Anyone getting close to that?
The "r" (range) shows 300, and has gone up to showing 310.
I only have about 2200 kms on my TG and it has improved substantially since the initial fuel fill up.
The first fill up was showing the "r" at about 180 kms. I damn near ran out of fuel on the first tank.
I was not familiar with the mileage button at the time.
Does it have a while to go yet before I will get that mileage or is the quoted mileage a load of BS?

BTW, I don't really care about the mileage (I'm not cheap), but just curious, as I don't want to be stuck on the side of the road out of gas.

Less during break-in ..... better and better with mileage.

Stock motor and exhaust 2014 > With over 4500 miles I get 37 mpg or 222 miles per 6 gal. (mostly 2-up)
I almost never push past 200 miles before refueling.

It will tell you when you are getting low! It kind of adjusts the distance "R"EMAINING if you start driving more conservatively...so I think it is pretty smart.

I've had my 2014 Triglide since June 7, 2014.

I've got about 5600km on it now and most of the time my Remaining shows 330kms after filling up. I have been recording MPG. I got 33.45 on the first tank.
It's climbed since then. My best has been 37.96 MPG. That was yesterday, two up with some highway at sea level to 1154 feet and some back road twisties. Most of my riding is two up.

35-36 mpg consistently for me. That's with the BSR too.

When I get about 180-190 miles on a tank I starting looking for a gas station. I really don't want to test the accuracy of the reserve mileage number. :p

On my 2009 TG I average between 210-230 miles per tank depending on speed, wind (head or tail) and ethanol. Yesterday was a good example. No wind to speak of. 204 miles on two lane roads (60 mph or less). 204 miles on 5 gallons (40.8 mpg). I dip into the 36 mpg range on the Interstate if I keep it at or below 70mph. Over 70 I start using fuel real fast.
