Got a message from management saying I haven't posted here and would be removed at some date. Naturally I did post asking what was going on. Now I go to check on it and can't find the post. What is going on?

Your post is still there, its just moved further down on this forum...To answer your question: The email was sent in error to a few of the earliest members that had already made posts. Its been discussed on a couple of threads. You're fine Chickie!

ZOOK IS EVERYTHING OK? are we not posting enough ? ThumbUp

Charley,
The message was supposed to be sent only to those who have never posted. When I went to mass email it I forgot to select "O posts" in the "mail to" panel. Therefore it mailed to a hundred or so members before I could catch it...its really fast! The oldest members with the beginning member numbers #1 and up, gets mailed first so some recipients freaked because they knew they where long time members and had posted and didnt want to have their account deleted.

I did correct it and resent to the 0 posters and they have been piling on to secure their membership. We actually have over 14,000 registered members, but I prune the non-active ones from time to time along with the the spammers and a handful of mis-fits, thats why we are showing only around 10,000 members currently. Its all good.

Mr. Zook - Just for the fun of it, is there a way to find your "membership number"? As I "fish" around the system, I find lot's of information, but don't see any member #. We're from back in Feb '08, which was somewhere near the beginning. Doesn't really matter, just curious. Thanks.

Sure, its very simple. Just hover your arrow over your screen name and some script will appear at the very bottom left of your screen. It will say your user name and member number. You're among the real early ones..number 140!

Breeze, welcome from the U P of Michigan. I understand your wife's position as I have also had neck surgery and at times for no special reason have unbearable pain. Those days I just have to stay in bed and have a big bowl next to the bed. That takes all the fun out of riding. I sympathise with her and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
