Most forums are like that. Many people come to forums like this one just to read and gain technical knowledge or to be entertained and rarely or never post. Ever notice the ratio of members / visitors. Its usually 3 or 4 visitors to 1 member on the site at any given time and thats usually the case with just about any forum you visit. Many people like the anonymity that the internet provides. I suppose there is nothing wrong with that.
