Main drive bearings

I have a Daytona CSC on a Harley Davidson bike and have had a chirping noise.

After three years finally realized it is coming from the main drive bearings. Does anyone know if is a book to explain how to work on CSC as we have to travel it looks like 6 hours one way for a guy to work on it and the local CSC refuses to touch it as he did not put it together. My husband can fix this if we can find more info.

Would appreciate any help we can get as I hate riding it because of the Chirp. Takes the pleasure out of the ride.

Thank You

Hi Kimmers,

There isn't a repair manual for CSC kits. Our dealers are really your best bet for a repair like this. They can identify and sometimes update parts if available during the repair.

If you do try and fix it yourselves we of course have the parts in stock. Just call our service dept at 1-800-824-1523.

I am not sure where you are located but if you would like to call our service dept they might be able to find another dealer that may be closer to you.

Just a reminder, if your CSC kit is less than 5 years old this repair would be covered under warranty.

Thanks,
