Lower Trunk won't open

Opened fine for while then key fob stated locking it back. Now will not open at all. Motortrike on 2005 honda 1800. Tried releasing latch from inside top box. Nothing works! Help!!

You didn't tell us which Motor Trike kit you have so I'll just have to tell you that my Adventure kit has a manual cable release under the left side cover (fuse panel and battery cover) I've never tried it but one is suppose to be able to release the trunk lid by pulling on the cable. You might also try pushing in on the top of the trunk lid as you work the release to make things easier.

I had the same problem. The latch is sticking. As you pull the lever, take your hand and push in on the lower door of the trunk. That will releave the pressure and it will pop open.
