Lid on lower trunk hard to latch

Lower trunk lid will not latch, unless pushed hard. Then will not release with the lever on tour pack. But will release with emergency cable under seat.

this is on a 2007 cobra gl 1800.

has worked for 11 years. Had a CSc installer install the driveshaft kit and now it does not work right. When I pull the lever to release the latch it does not move anything in the latching mechanism. Plus when it is latched the lever to release does not feel like there is not any resistance. David

1. Post on CSC section for better response.

2. Have you talked to installer? Sounds like something didn’t get hooked when they repaired drive shaft. Or, it come loose.

3. If #2 doesn’t produce positive results then I would give CSC a call.
